Higher Ed Committee Advances Veterans Priority Registration Bill
The Assembly Colleges and Universities Committee voted 11-0 to approve AB 201, which would provide veterans priority registration for classes at UW and WTCS campuses. Regent Vice President Michael Falbo and UW Colleges and UW-Extension Chancellor Ray Cross, both veterans, testified in support of the bill.

JFC to Meet on June 4
The Joint Finance Committee, which is close to concluding its deliberations, is scheduled to meet on Tuesday. The committee will be taking up the following items: Health Services, Public Instruction, and General Fund Taxes.  Click here for further information.
