Upcoming UW Task Force Meeting
The UW Task Force will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, April 11. Members of the Task Force will discuss operational flexibilities related to capital budget and planning and procurement. Senate Bill 184 Signed by Governor
Last week, Governor Walker signed Senate Bill 184 into law, pushing the reporting deadline for the UW Task Force from January 1, 2012 to July 31, 2012. The law also gives the Task Force the ability to delay its report until August 31, 2012.
Recall Election Dates Established
The Government Accountability Board (GAB) recently set the dates for upcoming recall elections. The primary election, if necessary, will be held on May 8 with the general election on June 5. The governor, lieutenant governor, and four state senators face recall elections. For more information about the upcoming recall elections, please visit the GAB website.

Rep. Mark Radcliffe (D-Black River Falls) announced last week that he will not seek re-election to the State Assembly. Radcliffe has served four years representing the 92nd Assembly District.
