New Regent Appointments Confirmed

John Behling of Eau Claire and Regina Millner of Madison, appointed by Governor Walker to serve on the UW Board of Regents, appeared on Monday before the Senate Higher Education Committee. The committee approved both appointments the following day on a 7-0 vote. See Wisconsin Eye video coverage of the confirmation hearing here.

Today the Senate took up their appointments, confirming them on a 33-0 vote. Both appointments are for a 7-year term ending on May 1, 2019.
