Senate Higher Education Committee Update

On February 19, the Senate Universities and Technical Colleges Committee voted to advance the appointment of Tracy Hribar to the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents.  Regent Hribar's appointment is now awaiting a vote by the full State Senate.

On the same day, UW System President Kevin Reilly, UW Colleges and Extension Chancellor Ray Cross, and Interim UW-Extension Provost Aaron Brower provided a presentation to the committee about the UW Flexible Option.  Please click here to view the WisEye video coverage of that presentation (1 hr. 6 min.). 

The Committee was also briefed by President Reilly and Chancellor Cross on the status of operational flexibilities provided to the UW System in the 2011-13 state budget.
