UW Leaders Testify at Joint Informational Hearing on WiscNet

On July 8, the Senate Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges was joined by the Senate Committee on Government Operations, Public Works, and Telecommunications to hear informational testimony on WiscNet. The UW System was invited to testify and was represented by UW System Senior Vice President David Miller and UW-Madison Vice Chancellor Darrell Bazzell.  Click here to view UW's testimony (approx. 23 min.).

Assembly Higher Ed Committee to Meet in August

The Assembly Colleges and Universities Committee has scheduled a public hearing on August 15 to consider a number of bills.  Among the proposals to be heard is AB 260, relating to the enrollment requirements for recipients of talent incentive grants.
