Senate Higher Ed Committee to Meet August 28

The Senate Committee on Universities and Technical Colleges has scheduled a public hearing on Wednesday, Aug. 28, to consider several legislative proposals. Among the agenda items are SB 157, the appointment of the student members of the UW System Board of Regents; SB 222, citations to underage persons for alcohol beverages violations and disciplinary and sanctions against University of Wisconsin System students for such violations; and SB 229, enrollment requirements for recipients of talent incentive grants.
