Additional Assembly Retirements

Two Assembly Democrats have announced they will not seek re-election this fall. Rep. Steve Hilgenberg (D-Dodgeville) was first elected to the Assembly in 2006. For more information see his press release. Rep. Mary Hubler (D-Rice Lake) has also announced her retirement. Rep. Hubler has served in the Assembly since 1985 and is currently the fifth-most senior member.

In total, fourteen members of the Assembly and three members of the Senate are not seeking re-election in the fall. For more information on previous retirement announcements, see our earlier update.
