Scott Walker Becomes 45th Governor of Wisconsin

Governor Walker Makes Cabinet Appointments:

Governor Walker announced the following cabinet appointments late last week:

  • Dept of Administration: Mike Huebsch- State Representative for the 94th Assembly District and former Speaker of the Assembly.
  • Dept of Commerce: Paul Jadin- Former Mayor of Green Bay.
  • Dept of Health Services: Dennis Smith- Former head of U.S Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.
  • Dept of Natural Resources: Cathy Stepp- Former State Senator.
  • Dept of Transportation: Mark Gottlieb- State Representative for the 60th Assembly District.
  • Dept of Revenue: Rick Chandler- Former State Secretary of DOR and state budget director.
  • Dept of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection: Ben Brancel- former Secretary for DATCAP and State Representative.
  • Dept of Children and Families: Eloise Anderson- Former Director of the California Department of Social Services.
  • Dept of Workforce Development: Manuel “Manny” Perez- President/Co-owner of a staffing firm.
  • Dept of Corrections: Gary Hamblin- former Dane County Sheriff.
  • Dept of Financial Institutions: Peter Bildsten- 30-year veteran of the Wisconsin financial services industry.
  • Dept of Tourism: Stephanie Klett- host of Discover Wisconsin Television and Radio series.
  • Dept of Regulation and Licensing: Dave Ross- Mayor of Superior.
  • WHEDA Executive Director: Wyman Wynston- senior commercial TAD manager in the Atlanta Development Authority.
