Budget Adjustment Legislation Update

The Legislative Fiscal Bureau (LFB) has released a 44-page document that summarizes the proposed budget adjustment legislation and its fiscal effects.  The LFB has also released a list of non-fiscal policy items included in the budget adjustment bill.

The anticipated time line for the proposed legislation is a Joint Finance Committee public hearing at 10:00 today followed by a vote later today or tomorrow.  The full legislature is expected to take up the bill on Thursday and Friday.  Live coverage of the public hearing can be viewed at:  http://www.wiseye.org/
