State Legislative Update for March 24
Joint Finance Committee briefing schedule released
The Joint Committee on Finance has released their schedule of agency budget briefings which will begin next week. Representatives of state agencies will provide testimony on the Governor's 2011-13 biennial budget. The University of Wisconsin System is scheduled for Thursday, March 31. No public testimony will be taken at the briefings. A schedule of public hearings is expected soon.
Senate Ag & Higher Ed Committee hearing scheduled for March 29
The Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry, and Higher Education will hold an informational hearing on Tuesday, March 29, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in 201 SE, State Capitol. One of the items to be taken up is Senate Bill 28 relating to: composition of the Board of Regents of the University of Wisconsin System.
