Walker Delivers State Budget
Governor Scott Walker delivered the Wisconsin State Budget Address in the Assembly chambers of the Capitol on Tuesday, March 1. For more information regarding the budget address, please use the following links:
Following the Governor's budget address, the Joint Finance Committee (JFC) briefly met and voted to approve the budget introduction.
The Legislative Fiscal Bureau will release an analysis of the bill, which typically takes two to three weeks. Following this release, the JFC will hold agency briefings, likely at the end of this month. The JFC's public hearings are currently expected to be held in April.
