95th Assembly District Primary Election Results
On Tuesday, La Crosse County Supervisor Jill Billings tallied 52% of the vote, winning a Democratic primary election to fill the open 95th Assembly seat. The seat was vacated by former State Representative Jennifer Shilling, who was elected to the State Senate in August. Billings will meet Republican candidate David Drews in a November 8th general election.
Legislature to Meet in Floor Session Next Week
Both houses are expected to be in session next week. The State Assembly will be meeting at 11am on Tuesday, October 18. See finalized Assembly floor calendar here. Senate leaders are expected to meet on Monday to approve their session calendars for the week.
