University Officials Provide Testimony to Assembly Higher Education Committee
Yesterday, the Assembly Committee on Colleges and Universities held an informational hearing regarding UW-Madison's admissions process. The focus of the hearing was the findings of two studies released by the Center for Equal Opportunity (CEO).  Regent Board President Michael Spector and UW System President Kevin Reilly submitted written testimony reaffirming the value of the Regent's Freshman Admissions Policy used at every UW campus. A copy of the testimony and the Regent admissions policy can be found here.   UW-Madison Provost Paul Delucca and UW-Madison Admissions Director Adele Brumfield appeared before the committee.
