Recall Update

A recount in the 21st Senate District Recall Election officially started today.  According to the Government Accountability Board (GAB), the deadline for completing the recount is  July 2, 2012.  Further information on the 21st Senate recount can be found on the GAB website.

 

Governor's Council on College and Workforce Readiness
Yesterday, the Council held its 3rd meeting. Members were updated on Academic and Career Plans (ACP) and heard a presentation on Wisconsin's current and future workforce needs by the Department of Workforce Development (DWD).  UW-Extension Chancellor Ray Cross also led a presentation on efforts to develop the recently announced UW Flexible degree.  The council's next meeting is slated for July 31.
