Assembly Higher Ed Committee hears testimony on "Responsible Action Bill"
On August 15, UW officials appeared before the Assembly Higher Ed Committee and provided informational testimony on AB 256, also known as the "Responsible Action Bill," relating to underage drinking and requests for emergency or law enforcement assistance. Mark Nook, UW System Senior VP for Academic & Student Affairs, appeared before the committee alongside UW-Whitewater Chief of Police Matthew Kiederlen. A panel of UW-Madison officials also shared testimony.
