Governor Walker Calls a Special Session
Governor Walker released an Executive Order calling the State Legislature into a special session beginning at 10:00 a.m on Tuesday, January 4.
The five following bills have been drafted and are currently circulating for co-sponsorship:
-Tort reform.
-Tax incentives for both new and existing businesses in Wisconsin.
-Eliminating the state tax on Health Savings Accounts.
-Requiring a supermajority for a tax increase.
The two remaining proposals have yet to be released:
-Creating the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation to replace the Department of Commerce.
-Changes to the administrative rules process.
