Joint Finance Committee (JFC) takes up agency requests
On Tuesday, July 19, at its regular quarterly meeting, the JFC considered 8 agency requests. Among those approved was UW System's request to expend committed federal funds related to the Building Community Capacity through Broadband (BCCB) grant awarded to the UW-Extension. The UW request was approved unanimously. See the full agenda here
Assembly and Senate meet in Extraordinary session.
The State Senate met yesterday in extraordinary session and approved several bills including redistricting legislation and an extension of unemployment compensation benefits.
