Senate to meet today

Assembly higher education committee to take up SB 184 (UW Task Force Bill)
The Assembly Colleges and Universities Committee will be holding a public hearing on SB 184 on Tuesday, November 1. This legislation, changing the reporting date for the Special Task Force on UW Restructuring and Operational Flexibilities, was approved last week by the Senate on a 33-0 vote. Assembly slated to meet again next week
The State Assembly is expected to meet in floor session on Tuesday, November 1. Among the items to be considered are AB 39 and SB 28, companion bills relating to the composition of the Board of Regents. See tentative floor calendar here.
