Recent Legislative Council Study Committee Meetings

The Special Committee on Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect, chaired by Senator Alberta Darling, held its first meeting on July 12. The meeting included presentations from a number of state agencies including the UW System. Elizabeth Dionne, director of UW System's Office of Operations Review and Audit and Jessica Tormey representing State Relations, testified before the panel. The Special Committee on Improving Educational Opportunities in High School, chaired by Senator Luther Olsen, held its first meeting on July 16.
