State Revenues Projected to Grow an Additional $912 million by 2015

The Legislative Fiscal Bureau (LFB) has released new revenue estimates indicating state tax collections will increase by $911.9 million more than previously projected by the end of June 2015. For details, please see the LFB memo here.

State Representative Daniel LeMahieu Announces Retirement
Rep. Daniel LeMahieu (R-Cascade) announced he will retire at the end of the current legislative session.  LeMahieu, a member of the Joint Finance Committee, was first elected to the Assembly in 2002. For more information, please see Rep. LeMahieu's announcement.

Assembly and Senate Floor Sessions and SOTS Slated for Next Week
Both houses are scheduled to meet in floor session next week to take up a number of bills and appointments. The Assembly will be meeting on Tuesday and the Senate on Wednesday.
