Two More Legislators Announce Retirements

State Representative Mary Williams (R-Medford) announced that she would not run for re-election in 2014. Williams was first elected to the legislature in 2002.  State Representative John Klenke (R-Green Bay) also announced that he would not be seeking re-election this fall. Klenke, a member of the Joint Finance Committee, was first elected in 2010.

Both Houses to Meet Today
Both the Assembly and Senate are scheduled to meet in floor session today. The Assembly will also meet on Thursday, Feb. 20. For further details, please refer to the respective floor calendars:

Assembly Higher Ed Committee to Meet in Executive Session Today The Assembly Colleges and Universities Committee will be meeting today to vote on several bills. Those bills include: AB 729 relating to classified research at UW System institutions, AB 532 relating to WI Grants, and AB 432 relating to food procurement by the Board of Regents of the UW System.
