Budget Adjustment Bill

The State Senate is adjourned pending the return of enough Senators to vote on the Governor's Budget Adjustment Bill.  However, the State Assembly will now attempt to act on the Budget Adjustment Bill later today and is tentatively scheduled to reconvene at 5 pm today.

State Senate approves resolution to extend budget deadline to March 1st
The State Senate earlier today approved a Joint Resolution allowing Governor Walker until March 1st to introduce his 2011-13 budget bill.  The original budget deadline was February 24th. This means the Governor's official budget introduction to the Legislature will likely be delayed.
